We are an independent Church fellowship that meets every Sunday morning at 10.00am in Queens Hall, Halstead, Essex. Find us here.
We'd love for you to join our informal and friendly community that includes contemporary music and worship, a lot of prayer and relevant Bible teaching.
What we believe
As a non-denominational fellowship, we believe that salvation and reconciliation with God, our Father, is based solely upon the life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. There may always be particular issues of belief which divide Christ's Body, but we seek to claim as brothers and sisters all who have come into a living and obedient faith in Christ through the inner working of the Holy Spirit in new birth.
With the life of Christ containing so much depth, we invite you to join us on this journey of discovery as we all seek to know God's plan for our lives.
What do we teach?
We believe that the Old Testament of the Bible provides the roots of our faith and the New Testament, the shoots. There is an emphasis on teaching all Scripture as the inspired revelation of God.
What Are Our Core Values?
We believe that all who know Jesus Christ are gifted by the Holy Spirit and therefore all have a role to play in His church. There are no salaried members of Crossways and no individual is able to accomplish everything, but together, we can do great things.
Our Pastor
Geoff Abbott and his wife Debbie founded the church in their home in 2005 because they saw a spiritual need in people that was not being met. Over the subsequent years the church has grown numerically and in spirit. The desire is to make disciples and to see believers come to know Jesus in deeper and more intimate ways.
